Soldering:
It's unrealistic to expect new students to be good at this skill on the first day.
It took up too much time even with very capable students becoming reacquainted with soldering.
All boards for entry level students will be fully assembled electronically.
Soldering lessons can come later.
Tools:
It is best to have a toolbox and/or tool station for assembly. Messy workspace takes up time.
Every student should have a basic toolkit with them for every lesson:
Basic tools: Screwdriver set:
1. #2 Philips
2. small Phillips
3. small straight slot.
4. wire cutters.
5. wire strippers.
All components must be present and organized. A build box or tray for all components is recommended.
(maybe integrated with tool-kit. )
